Yes, it is possible (explain)
No, it is not possible (explain)
Technically we are absolutely free. We can do whatever we want, however there will be consequences. Nothing is really stopping us from doing something, however there can/will be consequences after we do what we want.
In lucid dreams it is.
Why would we want that though? I don't, other people's behaviour affect me.
It would be a horrible idea. If people had absolute freedom to murder, rape, loot, extort, ect. It would be a disaster we have laws for a reason its what makes us a civilization.
But if you listened to the BoDean's you could be Closer to it[Free] "Everybody 1, Everybody 2, Everybody FREEEEEEEEE! Also, If you've read Stranger in a Strange Land and have figured out how to discorporate yourself. I am dating myself with these old pop-culture references. And finally, an honest opinion: no. Because, after all, what we "want" to do are really just sensory impulses that were placed there either consciously or subconsciously by external stimuli at some point or another which means that we never really want anything ourselves more like it's just that our minds think so or that we are just genetically predisposed to a certain "action" or "thing" or "whatever" because we saw or heard of or imagined it or it's in our DNA.
Humanity is rotten at its core. Freedom is a right that we should have, but we should also be bound by law.
Absolute freedom would create a mass panic. If you want to live in a world like the Baltimore riot, people should not have absolute freedom. Besides, a large population of society is missing the ability to judge their decisions.
You can't do everything. It's not physically possible. Freedom isn't possible, if that's what freedom means.
Even when a person is fully "independent", his/her whole life depends on the will of God.
