Is George W. Bush's reasoning valid? (Read description)

Posted by: Cold-Mind

Citizens of Saudi Arabia were defending themselves from our occupation by crashing our giant buildings, therefore we have to make spying on own people legal. This act violates their rights guaranteed by constitution, and constitution was written by patriots, therefore we will name it "patriot act".

  • Yeah, obviously.

  • Nope.

  • I even read his memoir "Decision Points" in an attempt to "understand" his reasoning. It can't be done. He functions without sound reasoning!

  • I don't think Bush, himself is valid.

Much of the Patriot Act is great for this country. We just need to fix a few of the details within the Patriot Act.

By the way, (this will piss a few of you off) torturing is necessary in some situations. Don't even attempt to change my mind either.. I have plenty of knowledge to back me up on the issue of torture.

@Haroush Then you wouldn't mind accepting the debate challenge. My goal with this is not changing your opinion, but to influence opinions of people who did not decide yet.

@Cold-Mind, If we were going to do a debate.. I would want to do a sound recorded debate and then upload it. I am tired of doing debates then leaving half way through, not because I don't want to, but because it isn't time efficient for me. As far as my comment about people changing my mind, I was speaking in general, not necessarily directing that at you.

@Haroush Host the debate and invite me when you have enough time. I am not native English speaker, I find it hard to understand most of the people when speaking English. When I don't understand a written word, I can always google it. + I can copy paste premises I challenge.
