Is it okay for people who are against homosexuality to tell homosexuals not to be a homosexual?

This questions is only for people who are against same gender marriage to answer. I understand that there are so many people here today who support LGBT, I don't support it nor do I think it's right, but I'm not going to be going around telling homosexuals not to be a homosexual because I don't want to hurt their feelings and I don't want to create troubling conflict as well as I don't want to get in trouble. The church where I go to has a few times told us to tell homosexuals that it's wrong to be a homose

A person can't just decide to stop being a homosexual, and even if that was possible nobody should dictate other people's life decisions.

I would love to hear why Bowmana believes that.

Let's ask the same question with liberalism. "Is it okay for people who are against liberalism to tell liberals not to be liberal?" Not if you want to be plastered with hate labels, you can't.
