  • First, Lets took at some characteristics about each country. United States Pros Has a stable economy A good military More total trade Influence on other countries Cons In some areas, Racism exists A flawed voting system (electoral college) Individual states have little power when compared to provinces Crowded in cities A flawed education system Two parties to choose from, Meaning if you do not agree with one you have no choice More crime Canada Pros A better education system Better voting More power to provinces Better serviced Not as crowded Multiple large parties Less crime Cons Weaker economy Not that great defence system Huge amount of influence from the United States Less influence on other nations Less trade in total Here I am comparing them with variables that can be attributed to both. Here we can see that Canada is better than the United States, As it has more pros and less cons. However we can also see that the United states is better in terms of international relations and economy, While Canada is better in quality of life and government. Note to the creator of this poll. It seems that you have voted on your own poll, Which seems unfair. Also, You have given your choice on assumptions, Without much insight into WHY Canada is definitely not better than the United States. I may be wrong about that.

  • The United States is full of racists. On my first day of school I told everyone I was a foreigner and I was brutally attacked by a group of white young men who kept yelling trump! And make america great again! It was horrible, My father was here to work on a business, But he changed his mind after the incident. We moved to Canada, And based on personal experience I can say that Canada is way better than the so called "best country in the world. "

  • Canada has a better quality of life America has more power I chose happiness over power.

  • We have bagged milk.

  • I'm watching the US quickly degrading itself into a second world country. I'd have probably answered differently ten or twenty years ago, But I've spent enough time in both countries and Canada more closely reflects the values of a modern first world country.

  • canada is definitely not better than america

  • And I'm proud to be an American Where at least I know I'm free And I won't forget the men who died Who gave that right to me And I'd gladly stand up next to you And defend Her still today 'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land God Bless the U. S. A.

  • America is better because of our freedom of speech Canada doesn't have that and you can be fined or jailed for mis-gendering some one.

  • Justin Trudeau is an embarrassment to Canada. You don't have the right to self-defense, And some other things. This is frankly opinion based, It is not factual that Canada is better than America.

  • I am Canadian but I personally think that Americas system is superior to Canadas in many ways.

  • Canada restricts freedom of speech, Limits rights to self preservation, And is a racist, Economically stupid society.

  • Canada is a decent Country but it has an awful globalist leader in Trudeau. He is bad for Canada.

  • Canada doesn't have certain freedoms.

  • I wouldn't say completely better because both countries have their pros and cons

  • Without America and its military Canada would have been decimated years ago, I like Canada, Especially their ridiculous long waits for hospital visits and their high taxes. . . That's a joke.

  • Lets look at this logically for a second. The US has more nukes and a better military than Canada so if world war 3 happened, The US would not only survive but even win. Secondly the US has a WAY better economy than Canada no question about it. Thirdly the US has a better healthcare. While our healthcare is more expensive, Our healthcare is the toppest quality healthcare in the world while in Canada you have to wait hours or days to get treatment. Fourthly the US has a wider variety of landscapes hell just in california alone we have mountains, Forests, Deserts, And the plains. While in Canada the landscape is pretty much all the same bueatiful however limited compared to the US.

  • Canada and U. S i see have their ups and downs on both nations. So I would think they are about the same.

I'm a patriotic as can be Canadian, But right now our country is not that great. Namely our current government, The liberals have destroyed parts of Canada and in my opinion have completely changed the meaning of "Canadian. " From being known as peaceful and polite, To forced diversity and unbelievably high crime rates in the Toronto area, Canada has definitely changed for the worse since Trudeau took over. With that being said, I believe the exact opposite is happening in America - the government is doing a great job, The Trump administration has repaired relations with two countries everyone expected the US to go to war with, And have put America first. However, I'm not necessarily a fan of the majority of US cities I've visited, The people seem less welcoming and more independent than the average Canadian. So it's really hard for me to pick one over the other, It's essentially great government with average people, Or horrible government with above average people, If you don't account for the forced diversity that's ruining many cities.
