  • Love of sports, love of gaming, love of people close to you, etc, etc, etc. Love in one way or another is part of who you are.

  • The meaning of life is to reproduce... for every animal. Most humans want to at least LIKE the person they're having a child with.

  • It can be. But it can also be a waste of time depending on the situation and the individuals.

  • Love is never a waste of time when it is the core of happiness. Think about it though; is it possible to waste time to even begin with? You can't completely just "waste time." Time is only something people seem to revolve around. But, why? Is time God? Is time an idol? F time. Time is only controlling you. It is only telling you to conform into society and "go with the flow." Don't give into time. You can't "waste time" when there is no care of the time itself. Do not conform. Look into the importance of life. Of your life. Do not revolve around others, but build your own atmosphere. And remember, love is the key to happiness when you do so.

A lot of romantic love is. However, love towards your families, friends, etc., is by no means a waste of time.

@ScarlettPig That's just a small part to the meaning of the universe. The meaning of the universe being complexification. Matter tends to complexify upon itself.
