Yes (God is a blackmailer and cult leader)
No God made Satan to torture people, therefore Satan is the bad guy.....Wait what?
This is really dependent on whether one considers secondary sources (meaningful ones, not just 'anything with Satan in it') or just the bible, and whether or not one considers God himself to be 'good' or not, and how exactly one reads motivation into how Satan is depicted. I do not believe the God of the bible is in any way, shape or form even close to 'good', and I find no fault with opposing this being in itself. Considering all relevant information, all but the most base, needlessly monstrous depictions of Satan are still ethically better and more justified than God.
Satan is forced to torture people by God, I feel sorry for the guy. He never asked for any of this. If we all pray to Satan he will treat us well when we go to hell.
i mean, he might just be a misunderstood fallen angel in his emo/scene stage.
I'm no expert in myths but God decides where people go to in the afterlife if you break his trivial rules you go to Hell, The God and the Devil are enemies why would the Devil punish anyone who arrived in Hell- people who disobeyed God. The enemy of your enemy is your friend. Additionally the Bible is God's side of things... the devil hasn't wrote a book so how do we know anything he says is true. If an all powerful God exists then he causes diseases, poverty, genocide, infant mortality, homicides, rapes etc. sounds like a douche to me so if I had to pick a side in this argument of theirs id go with the devil
No, Satan is not the good guy. And God plays the role of Satan when he has to be, to protect the Earth and what he has established in it. Men are the real heroes in the story (or can be). If you're not doing things to promote the goodness and peace, then you're just another bad guy in the universe.
God never intended for Satan to become the devil, he is an insurgent among the angels. What does Satan endorse? Murder to a useless life. Does Satan's way bring fulfillment or stop the never ending cycle of want? No. Satan endorses; Temptation leads to sin, and sin leads to death. A Christian Perspective
Without delving into "God is sending people to hell" and "Satan has no choice" etc., I'm going to have to stay on the surface with this one and say that, almost(?) by definition, Satan is evil.
Satan wants you to go to hell. He can't possibly be the good guy.
Satan is a fallen angel whom God made and will destroy and this goes out to all who practice satanism that God loves you he cares for you not just you but everyone he wants you to be in his heavenly kingdom Satan has no love but making your life horrible and if you don't listen you will find out there are two paths which do you choose I choose God Satan is the evil one
