  • Of course not! The overwhelming majority of Muslims, including Sunnis & Shi'a Zaydyah think otherwise.

  • No, because the Islamic "religion" is a False "religion" and is as of today THE most violent teaching/people in the World ! Down with islam.

I have already given my evidences in my debate. Any Sunni brother wanna debate me?
UtherPenguin says2015-08-21T20:37:30.4748668Z
My original argument was poorly strewn together at the last minute. Maybe if I spend a day in advance working on my argument I might be up for a rematch

Brother, I will be glad to have another debate with you.

Sure, I would be just as glad

What are you two debating?

@Yassine Thist topic: I forfeited two rounds, hence why I'm asking to rematch.

I'll admit to not being an expert on the topic, obviously, but from what I've read Ali was clearly the best man for the job and there was an understanding of this, but he was strong-armed by Umar, and then the Umayyads who were Muslims in name only. Not only the Zaidi Shi'a but also Sunni Sufi believe in the spiritual superiority of Ali over the other companions. I don't think it adds to the debate over whether or not there was an imamate, but merely that Ali should probably have been the first caliph. Interesting topic, in the West we need to start researching Islam and learning the differences between the different schools, because ignorance doesn't serve anybody.

@Yassine, Brother I have already told you that population doesn't show the facts. When Moses(pbuh) went to Sina mountain majority of believers started worshiping golden idol and a minority refused. With your logic, majority were right to worship the idol!!! (I'm sorry to use such an example, as I like my Sunni brothers and I do respect them) And I am sure that you know during these 14 centuries Shia Muslims have been killed by Sunni Muslims and their population was radically decreased by Sunni Muslims (Some times politically and some times because of radical Sunni schools). It is Not the first time that Shia Muslims experience the attack of radical Sunni Muslims like ISIS and Salafi, Takfiri Muslims. Do not blame ISIS soldiers or other radical Sunni groups as they are all acting like Abubakr and Umar to spread Islam by force! To let you know that Ahl-Albayt (the true successors of Muhammad (pbuh)) were all against attacking Iran and other countries to spread Islam by force! Our first Imam (Ali) was called "the door of knowledge by Muhammad (pbuh)", the fifth Imam was called the sea of knowledge by Muhammad (pbuh) and we are waiting for the 12th Imam who will make the world with Jesus (pbuh), the Imam who was predicted by Muhammad (pbuh) : Until Mahdi's arrival, human being will be able to open one door of knowledge by half when Hujjah (12th Imam or Mahdi) comes he will open 26 other doors by himself. He will stop all the wars in the world by the help of Christ(pbuh).

Malek-ibn-Anas ( known as "Imam Malik" the leader of Maleki Sunni Muslims) says: No eyes have seen, no ears have heard and no hearts have felt the person more superior than Jafar-ibn-Muhammad (the 6th Imam of Shia Muslims) in Science(Ilm), Righteousness(vara'a), worshiping God.

Nu'mān-ibn-Thābit (known as Abu-Hanifeh the leader of Hanafi Sunni Muslims) who had been Jafar-ibn-Muhammad's (the 6th Imam of Shia Muslims) student said: I have never seen a person superior than Jafar-ibn-Muhammad in science and fiqh (afqah men Jafar-ibn-Muhamma).

The first Imam (Ali) said:" If I wanted I would make light and fire for you out of water." 14 centuries ago a man talks about electricity and light! Can you understand why Muhammad (pbuh) said Ali was the door of knowledge? Compare him with Umar who said:" If Ali didn't exist, Umar would lose the life (lav la Ali la halakal Umar)"

Muhammad (pbuh) talked about future and said [prediction]: After me Ali will be Imam and my Vassi (lets say successor), then his son Hassan, then his son Hussain, then Ali the son of Hussain, then Muhammad the son of Ali [Baqir al-ulum or scientist], then Jafar the son of Muhammad [Jafar-ibn-Muhammad or the honest], then Moses the son of Jafar, then Ali the son of Moses, then Muhammad the son of Ali, then Ali the son of Muhammad, then Hassan the son of Muhammad, then Hujjah[Mahdi or Imam of time] the son of Hassan. He [Hujjah] will disappear [like Jesus(pbuh)] and will appear in a time that the world is full of sin and cruelness." God will send them both for future people. And they will both make the future.
