The US will Inevitably fall into socialism, or worse. Full Government control. Seems alittle biased
It tis. I find the idea of my liberties in the hands of monkeys on capital hill unfathomable.
"The US will Inevitably fall into socialism, or worse. Full Government control" This is obvious bias
Brandan, do you even understand what Socialism is? It is not a bad thing.
This is biased, i want to know what others think about the topic because ill probably debate this in the future
Brandan, just because you have an opinion on it does not mean you should make it biased.
It really is, The whole system dosent even work, i belive that provate property, private buisness ownership, and small government is the way to go, capitalism works way more. Socialism is a lazy mans economy.
This shows that you have absolutely no idea what Socialism is.
We are not extremely socialist... @YellowPandaBear
Eh, he isn't too off about Socialism. In most forms of Socialism, the people are allowed to keep their private property, but are not allowed to keep businesses. The type of Socialism that America will likely more towards is something in-between Socialism and Capitalism. Businesses will still be owned privately. So will private property. The difference is that there will likely be fairly heavy regulation in regard to privately owned businesses. In addition, we'll have programs similar to that of welfare that will strive to close the gap between the rich and the poor. It isn't necessarily a bad system. I generally support it, so long as it doesn't go too far. Socialized healthcare, for one thing, isn't something that I support any longer.
There should be a hooray socialism option.
Somehow I think people voted for Socialism because of the negative stigma that it has, and many are under the delusion that the US is an oppressed nation.
Why do people always go far left or far right when bashing each others politics?
It is nearly always a moderate just off center compromise in reality. The swing back and forth actually makes capitalism stronger and is better for peoples finances generally.
@brandan - It's not a votable poll, it is so loaded with bias and vitriol.
It is and has been about half socialist since the 30's anyway.
Socialism isn't generally bad there have been a few messed up socialist states, but we've never seen a perfect socialist state. Not yet at least.
