Is Theism compatible with Evoloution?

Posted by: UtherPenguin

Or in other words, is it possible to be an evolutionist and a theist at the same time? PS: Kitten is on thumbnail in order to lessen the impact of any potential flame wars.

There are many theists who believe in evolution. The coots are really a minority.

Yeah. Like all of italy for example. Majority Catholic. Not many creationists at all.

I am a theist but I believe in some of it. Not the stuff about humans coming from apes though. Lobe finned lung fish and such I believe in though. They still exist.

Humans didn't come from apes - apes and humans share a common ancestor. It's a common misconception that humans came from apes because apes resemble more of the common ancestor than we do, but we in no way came from what we currently see as apes.
