If I can't reasonably explain how the evidence does not necessarily contradict my religion, I'll change.
My religion actively changes with scienceAny non dogmatic religion changes with acquired knowledge
Everything from medicine to aeronatical engineering would be changed if evolution were to be proved wrong
Wait why does this poll assume that religious beliefs=creationism
I know. I'm Christian, and I went to a catholic primary, but I still believe in evolution.
Unfortunately, people fail to grasp the core concepts of religion and the belief system. People tend to place the highest value and attention on the deity involved with each religion instead of the teachings of each religion which are basically to be an honest, good, productive, and trustworthy person. It's like reading Thomas the Tank Engine and instead of taking away the teaching of "Never give up, no matter how tough the road you're on is there is always an end."; they instead start building shrines and praying to Thomas the Tank Engine calling him a God. Sounds kinda stupid when I put modern interpretation on it doesn't it?"
Well according to the text you will burn for ever for that...
@Freakin- Is that for me or for MakeSensePeopleDont? Whatever, I treat things like that metaphorically- If I followed a God that would chuck people in hell for not believing every word that they say, I would be disgusted in myself. That automatically sends the majority of humanity to Hell! The majority of people aren't Catholic. I wouldn't believe in a God that cruel.
