  • Bottom line is yes because it's outsourcing to other countries like China and India and people can't just not buy items made in China or other countries because everything made in America is so expensive that it is impossible for the average family to actually buy only american made items. I recently saw that they are planning to move back into the US and started by drawing up a plan but for all we know it's lies but you can't say it's not going to happen until it doesn't happen. let's cross our fingers.

  • Walmart is just one of the problems that are going to get us into a despotic future for so much of society. That said I find that people deserve what they get for been such sheep and not voting for what gives them better chance at a better life.

  • Yes but not because "they are evil corporate pigs" or something stupid like that, for you see with the current path we are taking, the United States will always support Communism is China because they make all of the products we use over there with there cheap child labor. Walmart is a very big contributor to this and that is a big problem. We as a nation need to be more independent and start making products ourselves instead of being hypocrites and actually supporting what we say we are against.

  • Wal-Mart provides jobs for millions of unskilled workers, and allows people to save time, money, fuel etc. shopping around to get the best deals, as they know they can get everything at Wal-Mart.

  • To those who worry about Wal-Mart and outsourcing I ask you to consider what is causing the outsourcing. Part of it is that Wal-Mart is a business and so exists for the sole purpose of making money via providing a good or service that people demand. The more important part however is that the government, at all levels, is making production in the United States very expensive. Wal-Mart and its suppliers not only have to pay significant tax rates alongside inflated wages thanks to the minimum wage laws, but they also have to comply with layer upon layer of costly and time consuming regulation. So when you ask whether or not Wal-Mart is destroying America's economy don't answer yes, the answer is that government and the special interests it serves are killing the economy.

  • no, people are free to shop where they like and a lot of people obviously love to shop at wal mart
