Job senario

Posted by: retrogamer176

3 people come up, each with different, deep beliefs. Person 1 has a christian belief that working on Sundays is an abomination, while person b believes that they should be given 4 days of full time, Mon-Thurs, with Friday being a part time day, and Saturday and Sunday being days off, in order to rest the body. Person C just wants Saturday and Sunday off because, whatever. Who will get the days off? (all days off will be paid)

You spelled "scenario" wrong...

Sorry about that.
TBR says2015-04-07T09:09:59.9151853-05:00
This is all just "reasonable accommodations". A Christian that MUST have Sundays off can be skipped over for a job that requires work on Sundays. You only need to make attempts as reasonable accommodations.

TBR: Person B has a deep philosophical belief as well.

Well unless sundays must be worked, the Christian is the most economic choice, only missing one day a week is better than 2.

Mathgeek: You got it economically, what about morally?
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-07T19:53:58.3618885-05:00
Well it seems that the only reason person B wants two days off is because he thinks it should be days to rest the body. Don't see any immorality in denying that.
retrogamer176 says2015-04-07T20:30:31.5835501-05:00
Well, he has a deep belief that he needs those days off in order to relax so that he can perform better on the days he does work. He exercises.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-07T20:31:15.1404665-05:00
It doesn't say deep belief. It only says he has a belief.

Read the first sentence.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-07T20:35:28.3297603-05:00
How on earth does C have deep belief, it just thinks whatever, last time I checked what ever isn't a deep belief.
retrogamer176 says2015-04-07T21:10:51.8926048-05:00
All 3 claim that their beliefs are deep. Person's A and B gives legit reasoning, and person C gives none at all.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-07T21:13:16.4082256-05:00
"3 people come up, each with different, deep beliefs." It doesn't say the claim they have deep beliefs, it say that 3 people come up with deep beliefs.

@mathgeek meh.

@retrogamer176, you think that a person should work only two days a week and "stay home and rest" for for four?! People need a weekend to have off for religious purposes and rest. Person B is unreasonable!

Wait never mind, i misread this.
