Music doesn't have a language, it's not hard to understand the MUSIC. Most of the themes portrayed in their MVs are quite modern and western, so I'm not sure what are you guys on about. Either way, we're talking here about music, not the full package including the fandom, the band members that look disgustingly effeminate or such, etc. (I'm not a fan of that either, but we're talking music here)
Can't understand a word of it, still better than western pop though.
To all the people who think that kpop is bad because you can't understand the lyrics, Search a lyric video.
Kpop doesn't talk about drugs, Money, Gangsters, Or just "flexing" on haters. K-Pop mainly consists of songs that are about love, Self love, Or serious problems.
I have never been a fan of Korean Pop music. I am unable to understand their lyrics or language, though the music being composed may sound good. I have always liked Western Pop music, not because they are in English, but because they have great themes and grooves in the music. It also depends on the era. I'm not particularly satisfied with the pop music of this current time, but I would like some pop music ranging from the years of 2012-2016. Korean pop music, never really listened to that kind of pop music, but maybe it sounds good to those certain people, despite their inability to comprehend their language, but as for me, I believe I will always like Western Pop music.
Music is music, but Western Pop has the most sentimental value to me, even though a lot of it is trash.
I’m all for expanding my playlist but I bet half of y’all can’t even understand what their saying. When k-pop was first popping I listened to songs, not just no “most popular from bts”actually at least ten artists. Its just not for me
I speak English, So I tend to prefer music that I can understand just by listening to it. However that is not to say that I dislike Kpop. They both have their merits I suppose.
