I've never really had an understanding of why people think libertarians are 'dangerous'. From my understanding, what they want is more state government control, compared to federal government. Can this be clarified?
Exactly, less 'federal' legalization and more 'state' legalization. (Recognition of State's Rights)
Libertarians are die hard constitutionalists.
Basically the law would be "Do whatever you wish so long as it does not restrict anothers rights or harm them. Your life is your responsibility and freedom"
Welfare would be abolished.
Government out of education.
The FED would either be audited or abolished.
Marijuana, Gay Marriage, Abortion would be legalized according to each state's own view.
Income tax would be outed.
We would refrain from jumping into foreign affairs, i.E no occupation in 130 countries.
America's involvement with the U.N + E.U would be HEAVILY debated.
Free Markets would be our stability.
BLM would most likely be outed.
Generally, a Libertarian President would practically be a walking constitution.
The three philosophies of libertarians are as follows. Abolish federal programs and replace them with private business aka DOE,DOC, and most notably, the department of education. Eliminate fiscal policy entirely, but monetary as well. Aboloish taxes
Uh this is strange. I guess I'm more liberal than conservative, but I've never heard someone call me 'dangerous.' "Oh, watch out that 100 pound guy is going to sucker punch you." Yeah, I don't think I'm a threat.
Also, by definition liberals are patriots. Why, you ask? Patriots strive to improve their country. The early Americans were Patriots because they were trying to remove an oppressive government, thus, improving their country. Liberals strive to improve their country through changes and reforms. Whether you think these changes are an improvement is irrelevant. They are changes nevertheless, thus, liberals are patriots. Guys come on, all changes aren't bad. Do you all think getting rid of slavey was a bad thing? How about segregation? Or even getting rid of the British control of the Thirteen Colonies. Not all revolutionary changes are bad. I ask you keep an open mind and be cautious but not paranoid.
Why are Libertarians dangerous? Because they hold their government accountable for their actions. Because they support and defend the constitution of the United States. Because they love freedom and liberty. We want America to be what it was supposed to be. Less Federal Government and more Power at the state level.
