I like both, but I feel that retro games are better because they tend to be more creative and diverse. Back then was when they were experimenting with ideas and now, although there is still some experimenting, companies tend to use the same or similar formula.

Retro. Why? Because they are always fun to just pick up and play.
I often find myself playing SNES more foten than any other game on the market today.

As much as I love a good old retro, I think 90% of people would be lost without the graphics we are presented with on our modern games.

Retro is more challenging and have better level design and pacing. But most modern games have a story which I enjoy playing through more. Gives me a false feeling of accomplishment. That I helped.

More story, better graphics, better sound, better feel to the controllers, more possibilities in the game, more realistic, better animations, smoother gameplay, multiplayer... it's considered an online community now, not just "playing a video game." Sure, retro games revolutionized gaming, but that doesn't make them better. I really can't think of any reason retro games as a whole could possibly be better than modern games as a whole. Some may have had "better" gameplay, or more addictive gameplay, and the one game that comes to mind is Galaga. I loved that game and played it on one of the arcade machines I've got, and never played anything as fun. But that doesn't mean retro games are better as a whole.

i prefer women who plays the modern over men who plays the retro!
Yep and its easy now that we can emulate most consoles and older computers now.
