MS TFS, MS Dynamics CRM & Sharepoint were created by the devil.

I have had install/admin issues with each, but after 4hrs Sharepoint has destroyed every other site running on IIS.

  • Clearly as the devil does not exist (assuming the widely accepted definition of devil of overseer of Hell), he cannot have created these.

  • Maybe they don't have the best user interface, but writing software is hard. If you can do better, please do.

Do you have any experience with any of them?

Its looking like it has messed with classic asp (replaced the dll) changed NTFS rights on everything, messed-up the application pools and god knows what else. What a mess.

@TBR Yeah bro, I mess with all of them, some on a daily basis. In fact, I configured SharePoint in a way that allowed me to change it to a massive database, well beyond its capabilities, using it to hold and manage billions of records, interactions, and alterations. I also configured it to be used nationwide by a few thousand people at one time, in a Fortune 200 Corporation. So yeah, I definitely know what I am doing and as I told our original SP admin: PEBCAK -- He replied the same way you did, I sat down and a week later fixed the problem including fixing a record loss issue he was having and never reported, then went back and provided the solution with a note stating "PEBCAK"
