  • Military coups have a shoty record when it comes to success stories. Though with the ingrained nationalistic tendencies beaten into our military, I don't see any modern day general who would even attempt a coup or a cause big enough to turn one of them. Even the Business Plot (for those who don't know what that is, look it up. It is VERY interesting) failed because General Butler refused to do it.

Depends on the situation. The current situation doesn't even come close to meriting such a thing.

Did anyone take the time to open the FULL survey sampling and check out the questions? LOL the survey consisted of 15 questions that were designed very carefully to sway the vote heavily in the way they got. || Here, check them out here: https://today.yougov.com/news/2015/09/09/could-coup-happen-in-united-states/ || Examples of these question are: "Should active duty soldiers ALWAYS follow orders from civilian superiors" || "Should active duty soldiers ALWAYS follow the orders of their military superiors, even if they feel they are misguided? || Do you believe that the military has a duty to protect the Constitution against foreign and domestic enemies? (This one is actually part of the oath you need to take, prior to attending boot camp). || The rest are littered with grammar, purposely worded they way they are to get your mind thinking much deeper into these than they should be.
