TBR, you having a problem with that?
TBR says2015-04-14T21:08:32.1944910-05:00
Just a minor irritation. I see a bunch of alerts, and all the stuff I am involved with NOW is off my screen. I don't blame, or want new users to NOT vote, it just messes with the alerts.

It sounds... Well... Negative. Sorry. I so don't want to discourage new users. Just I see a poll a dozen polls I know are dead clogging my feed.

I know how it was. I miss the chromebook for one class period, I come back 16 alerts. I think I am going to vote confusing how did they find it?

@TBR that's why you turn off poll notifications. It makes life SO much better.

But what if we want the new poll notifications.

Anyways, I like having the old ones too.

If we could receive notifications for only votes with comments, that would be great.

Its not so much the one-off vote. It is a new user going back and answering like 10 polls going back weeks. Again, I get it, not blaming the user, but its annoying.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-15T09:22:09.3533829-05:00
I don't find it as annoying as surprising. I wonder how they found my old polls, I guess Google searches?
TBR says2015-04-15T15:29:49.7460025-05:00
If they search "cuttlefish" and "mini-gun" it would be the top return

I don't mind it. It means people vote on my polls.
