its cleaner, But more dangerous
Nuclear energy uses a fraction of the mass of fossil fuels with far more energy efficiency and produces only very small quantities of toxic waste. Safety has been improved greatly since the older facilities like Chernobyl and better designs have been made to minimize any risk of radiation release even in the event of a disaster like an earthquake. Despite being costly to develop such facilities, they should appeal to environmentalists and the middle class due to how environmentally friendly it is and how much cheaper this energy can become over time.
