Birthplace of Bush.
triangle.128k says2015-07-19T18:55:46.5557625-05:00
But Australia was the birthplace of Ken Ham...
triangle.128k says2015-07-19T18:56:00.7204717-05:00
That's not really a justified reason.
Midnight1131 says2015-07-19T18:58:20.3239768-05:00
I'll say that Ken Ham hasn't had nearly as much of a negative impact on the world than Bush.
triangle.128k says2015-07-19T18:59:24.5030641-05:00
Still, it's not a justified reason to say one place was bad because a bad person was born there. It's like saying Germany is bad because of Hitler. Or that China is bad because of Mao. And Ken Ham would turn the USA to hell if he became the president, but yeah I should have used better examples.
triangle.128k says2015-07-19T19:00:12.7212563-05:00
It would also make as much sense as saying Russia is bad because of Vladimir Lenin and Stalin.

Hitler was born in Austria. Its still not Austria's fault.
tajshar2k says2015-07-19T19:03:13.6667976-05:00
God people it's a joke...
tajshar2k says2015-07-19T19:04:35.0681194-05:00
If you want my real reason, I'll tell you. Texas has too much of a cowboy mentality for my liking.
triangle.128k says2015-07-19T19:06:33.9145267-05:00
Isn't that just a stereotype like saying blacks are criminals?
tajshar2k says2015-07-19T19:15:23.4335877-05:00
No its not, it part of their culture. Being a criminal isn't black culture.
tajshar2k says2015-07-19T19:15:46.4857712-05:00
Triangle, why do you like Texas?
triangle.128k says2015-07-19T19:36:02.3636102-05:00
I'm neutral with Texas, but OP didn't give an option for neutral.
Midnight1131 says2015-07-19T19:39:45.1089566-05:00
Good idea actually, I should add that.
Texas14 says2015-07-19T20:21:56.7248362-05:00
Bush was born in Connecticut by the way
TBR says2015-07-19T20:36:34.4031220-05:00
It is a... Well, it is what it is. I WAS BORN A TEXAN. I, TBR am a TEXAN! Born on a AF base, lived there for, at least a couple months. But, all deflection aside, I can get the special license plates.
TBR says2015-07-19T20:38:58.1392114-05:00

mwedwards says2015-07-19T21:10:31.0884216-05:00
TBR: That does surprise me quite a bit actually. That by your birth certificate you are a Texan.
TBR says2015-07-19T21:17:00.5574104-05:00
My belt buckle ses otherwise mwedwards. OK, so the deal is, my father was a Lieutenant Colonel in the AF. He got through med-school on the AF, and served as the head of OBGYN for a large base in San Antonio Texas. We, my family, were there for some length of time, but I was the last child, and only lived in Texas for a VERY short time.
mwedwards says2015-07-19T21:23:17.5350730-05:00
TBR: Ok, so you and your family don't have deep roots in Texas necessarily. Makes sense. If you don't mind me asking, where was your family from prior to your father working on the base?
TBR says2015-07-19T21:48:14.8736947-05:00
My paternal grandfather was a professor at the UW Madison. My father did his undergrad in Madison. We, I grew up, in the Chicago area. I have lived in a number of areas of the country, but never the south.
tajshar2k says2015-07-19T21:51:03.7759451-05:00
I guess I'm neutral actually. I just do not like their culture, thats about it.
