Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire remakes have been announced

I don't usually vote in my own polls, but for me personally, this was about when I was expecting. HGSS came out at the end of the gen while FRLG came out in the middle, so it was entirely reasonable that RSE remakes wouldn't come out till the middle of 6th gen. Besides, until now we had ways of catching Hoenn monsters in the current gen, which was a main reason the remakes of Kanto and Johto were released in the first place. It'll be interesting to see whether Contests return, how the Mach and Acro Bikes will be implemented, how day and night will factor in, and what Mystery Gift events are held to commemorate Hoenn. I doubt though that there will be any new Mega Evolutions as one other voter said, because Eviolite can be traded from game to game. A major question though will be how they handle the teams. In both the previous two pairs of remakes, Game Freak added in all the additional mechanics and levels from the third game as well as new additions, but here you were facing a different team in each version and both in the third along with a new team hideout, so it'll be tough to integrate that into these games.
