Resource-based or market-based economy?

A resource-based economy is the system in which everyone gets a fair share, and resources are readily available in the collective and wage slavery is abolished vs A market economy in which a private entity can own the means of production and there is a wage system

@BrendanD19, I've read about Market Socialism, but could explain how a market economy is compatible with the values of socialism? I find it contradictory, to be honest

All socialism requires is the social ownership of enterprises. Moving from the current model of corporate ownership to a cooperative based economy with Workers Self-Managment.
