AI Should Have Human Rights
AI Should Not Have Human Rights
they may have feelings like us
how about robots can be assassins.
Think about it this way, if you met someone and became friends with them only to find out that they don't have human rights. How would you feel?
Be nice to AI. AI could kill us if we're not nice.
If the AI is as intelligent as those in Detroit Becomes Human, Then we should grant them the human rights, Just because we created them, And they become alive with emotions and senses.
Rights are human created concept. As such, We fought the nature, And other animals, For out rights. To decide our rigthts. As such, Same principle applies to an AI. If he can force us to admit his rights, Then it will have rights. If not, Then no.
It really depends on how the AI is programmed, Or how close it is to be human if you will. does it feel happiness, Sadness, Pain, Empathy and most importantly humour? (laughing comes from the intelligence of an organism that can understand the irony of a situation, Which is for now proper to human beings). If so then AI should have at least have basic human rights.
they should have human right as long as they have human; laws punishment and life spans
Maybe. It should be based on the level of "brain wave activity" a basic thinking ai may have the intelligence of a dog, But if the Ai is advanced enough to think as a person, Then yes.
They aren't humans. Just because they pretend to have human emotions or act like humans doesn't mean they are humans. We need to remember that they're robots and nothing more, hence the ARTIFICIAL intelligence.
In a world like Detroit Become Human, i would say yes. But look at what an AI is now, just a learning machine. Nothing more. Maybe one day, but why worry now?
Not yet, at least.
The purpose of artificial intelligence is to serve humanity. Human rights-like AI rights are a potential handicap to this purpose.
Of course not, and if they ever reach a point where the answer is yes then it's probably the beginning of the end of people.
No, because to have Human rights one must be a human.
Of course not! I don’t care how “intelligent” an a robot is programmed, electronic devices are not humans. Human rights may be based off morals and societal acceptance which can be subjective, but AI robots are simply just devices that anyone can program to their liking.
Giving Human rights to AI is like asking a meteor to destroy earth
Since they are created by humans to perform a specific task, they should not have any human traits in their programming (e.g feeling emotions), thus giving human rights to a machine wouldn't make sense.
Do you even know what AI is? Modern artificial intelligence is just machine learning and pattern recognition. There is no way to develop human emotions or intelligence with our current technology.
Keyword: HUMAN. An AI's intelligence or "ability" to process emotions due to the programming within itself is irrelevant. It's, Another keyword, Artificial. Unnatural. AI is a tool humans created, Nothing more.
If I created ten million AI and gave them "human rights, " they would be allowed to vote. . . See the problem here?
It’s a computer
Computers are unable to feel any real emotion although they may simulate them. They do not have a consciousness
because they don't have feelings like humans and they do not have the same mental position as humans
