They should be able to hire who they want.
They should be able to fire employees for any reason. It will hurt business, but it it should be legal.
Employers can do whatever they please, good or bad.
You can't force companies to keep their employees, you pschopaths! No matter how many of you there are!
If they believe abortion is immoral, then sure. I mean, if I changed 'having abortions' to 'adultery', would anyone still vote No? This is not a case of discrimination based on gender, race or sexual orientation, but about morality.
They should be able to fire any employee for any reason. also why did people vote for no but then argue for yes?
It is the employees choice for goodness sakes. It doesn't have anything to do with the company
What sort of derp question is this?
1) Abortions are completely legal as well as a very personal thing that is not the business of your employer. 2) This is a way of discriminating. against women as it only effects them. 3) It is entirley unrelated to her job and quality of work. 4) Have a freaking heart.
They can practice business acording to their beliefs, but they cannot force their employees to live by their beliefs outside of work.
Honestly, I'm not too keen on the idea of abortion, but that should have nothing to do with what type of employee the woman is. If you're going to fire someone, it should be because either, A: The company needs to cutback on employees. B: She isn't very good at her job.
