I don't really even think they need it anymore. All companies do it for them anyways. All they have to do is leave a provision in that allows them to request data from a carrier. I don't know how people can be so concerned over this, though, when they very willingly submit the same info to private institutions everyday. The government, who's intent is to use it for protection and law enforcement, is worse than the guy who wants your data to adjust prices you pay online in real time?
