  • Because its heavily scientifically supported

  • If it is taught like what it is, a hypothesis.

  • Evolution is true.

  • It only should be taught. Ban creationism.

  • science good

  • science!

  • Although it is essentially incorrect to attribute the theory of evolution by natural selection to fact, it is ignorant to ignore its relevance, and ultimately dangerous to not give students the opportunity to learn about it as it opens of the very REAL realm of generational mutation and genetic study.

  • It is essentially proven by more than a century of research, despite the protests of a few stubborn individuals who will not let go of their fairy tales.

  • It's a theory that doesn't prove religion wrong that is backed up be scientific evidence. Why wouldn't it be?

  • As soon as someone gives EVEN A SINGLE SHRED OF EVIDENCE FOR CREATION, someone in the scientific community might take it seriously for once. Let's stick with teaching things that are actually prove-able.

  • I love how the hardcore christians are like, "No evolution is fake and everything in the fictional book I believe in is true." lolz for dayz

  • I don't see why not. Besides evolution and theism aren't mutually exclusive.

  • It's scientific fact, so I don't see why not.

  • Proof, helps knowledge grow.

  • No they should just teach things that are true

  • No religion should. It is against the constitution. Heck public schools are unconstitutional.

  • Schools are not allowed to teach religion, they should not be able to teach atheism.

  • Not everyone believes evolution so it shouldn't be taught it school.

When you vote, could you please write why?

Evolution has nothing to do with religion, therefore it SHOULD be more widely accepted by society, while creationism is based off of religious beliefs. Therefore, creationism is simply a biased idea. We do not know that religion is the right way.

@tajshar2k don't ban it, that would be racist against christians.
walle_ras says2015-04-03T12:00:09.0276382-05:00
Evolution is a religion @benhos. It is accepted with faith.

Walle_ras you have to be a troll.
walle_ras says2015-04-03T13:16:14.6083296-05:00
Nope, I am just a proponent for truth. You do not see the obvious fact that Evolution is a religion.
shaancl_716 says2015-04-03T13:23:59.8258225-05:00
That is like saying bald is a hair color.

Definitions of religion: : the belief in a god or in a group of gods : an organized system of beliefs, ceremonies, and rules used to worship a god or a group of gods : an interest, a belief, or an activity that is very important to a person or group

Evolution is NEITHER of those things, get your facts right. Evolution is a scientific theory.
walle_ras says2015-04-03T13:39:37.0217653-05:00
How so?
walle_ras says2015-04-03T13:40:12.0560871-05:00
Evolution worship science. They believe that science is supreme.
triangle.128k says2015-04-03T13:41:51.8324079-05:00
How is Evolution a religion in the first place? Is there a certain set of beliefs and activities associated with Evolution? No there isn't. Evolution is a fact. That would be like saying that heliocentrism is a religion.
walle_ras says2015-04-03T13:45:52.2253259-05:00
Give me proof of evolution. Oh wait you can't? And why is that. Because Evolution happened in the past. Science cannot prove Evolution. Also, you do have beliefs. It is called your world view.
triangle.128k says2015-04-03T13:47:22.1737727-05:00
Why don't you google proof of Evolution yourself? Can you prove Creationism?

walle_ras says2015-04-03T13:51:57.2637514-05:00
No I cannot because it happened in the past. Fossils don't tell you anything. They tell you something died and the way it died and how old it was when it died. It doesn't say if it had any kids or not.

"The Bible is true because the Bible says it is true"
walle_ras says2015-04-03T13:58:51.8409307-05:00
Whoever said that is an idiot. The Bible is true because it hasn't been proven wrong.

walle_ras says2015-04-03T14:17:47.0227769-05:00
A quick refutation. Eh Eh em. The flood story is found every where. China, Hawaii, America, Maya, and more. They all have some things in common, mainly the core of the bible story. Not to mention Hawaii has details that match up with the Biblical story which the epic of Gilgamesh doesn't. Jesus was a real person. Nobody denies that. Except for people who are on par with Hittite deniers. All of those were added because of the Bible, mainly the messianic prophecy. Is that all? Because I was gearing up for something tough.
walle_ras says2015-04-03T14:29:18.4076081-05:00
Public schools are unconstitutional.
mdmark says2015-04-08T09:45:56.3302828-05:00
Well then maybe you should pay for private schools for every child. @walle_ras
