• No, it shouldn't because it teaches your kid(s) that being gay is socially acceptable.

  • Yes, it is okay to be good because it is legal in some states.

  • Yes homosexuality is gaining support from the public. But shows that would feature pro gay content would be boycotted by the people against it. I'm for homosexual content, it's only fair, but I don't think this would be a good marketing choice.

  • Not because it is legal in some states, because there is nothing wrong with homosexuality.

  • It's legal in some states? You mean gay marriage or being gay in general? Well, with out Mr. Sulu the Enterprise would still be on it's mission lost somewhere, so yeah I think it's okay. {?}

  • Showing being gay in a more positive light in the media will not brainwash everyone who is straight, but it will make people who are worried about coming out realise that being gay is a perfectly normal thing and will give them the confidence to live their life without having to hide their sexuality.

  • OF COURSE. I can't believe this is even a question.

  • Homosexuality is 100% okay... People saying that it isn't makes me a little bit sick. What makes you think that you can tell someone that their lifestyle is wrong? (Is lifestyle the right term? I don't know, but anyone who is sane knows what I mean) We are all on this earth for around the same amount of time, so why the hell do you think you can go around judging people for who they are...

Being gay is socially acceptable. Some people just have trouble accepting the inevitable.

Cat_Lover: What is wrong with homosexuality that is not wrong with heterosexuality?

Cat Lover, like what?

Everyone that voted no is a bigot. You think the only opinions that should be allowed are yours.

Brian made the point of the day!

You always have the choice of changing the channel. Bill O'Reilly is in the closet.
Owlz says2014-04-09T14:04:22.1104078-05:00
Brian, I disagree. How was I a bigot? I just approached this from a marketing viewpoint. Yes, stereotypically, people 100% against homosexuality are bigots. But this isn't about right or wrong. This is about homosexuality being promoted on TV. People don't make TV shows because they enjoy pleasing us. They make it to get money.

Owlz I detest realty shows, unwed mother shows, naked stranded in the woods shows, duck call shows, picker shows, pawnshop shows, or really any thing idiotic but I have a choice to turn the channel, get it.
Owlz says2014-04-09T14:17:38.9517705-05:00
Yeah, I get it. That's what I was saying above. By boycott I mean they wouldn't watch it. Changing the channel and watching another show would have the same effect.

Homos rule
imawesomedude says2014-04-12T02:50:42.5188050-05:00
Never. If they were allowed on TV they will spread the wrong morals to children and teach everyone gays should be accpeted. They have done wrong and they should be banned from the tv.
Kreakin says2014-04-12T19:19:33.4943095-05:00
Good that gay kids can grow up feeling they are normal and accepted in their community. Would be pretty unpleasant and unintelligent to think that making them feel abnormal will change anything for the better.
Kreakin says2014-04-12T19:20:45.3200614-05:00
Oh and I'm not answering the pole because it is loaded and pretty lame.
