Regardless of ones stance on the topicality— LGBT+ people exist within all sectors of society, And, Though the percentile of heterosexual to non-heterosexual individuals differs depending on various contexts, The general consensus is that 1 in 5 people are not heterosexual. They have a right to be taught about being LGBT+—ranging from sexual education to understanding ones own identity; much like those given to Heterosexual students and youths, Both explicitly and implicitly. Furthermore, A cohesive education on the LGBT+ community Is likely to increase an understanding of said individuals. Granted, The objective of 'acceptance' may not be the overall case—but, A furthered awareness of said community will aid in wider social perceptions and responses— at least to a degree.
