Yes, it is their right
No, it is a bad idea
Women and men should be allowed to use the restroom that represents them! they just have to pee!
The question is ill phrased & omits the subject entirely. Since this is a public policy question the subjects are govts - Federal, state, & local. That is, should govts have the authority to assign genders to individuals based on objective, medically derived measures and prohibit gender specific public accommodations to some according to those classifications? OR are individual citizens accorded the right to evaluate & express gender as they see fit and so empowered with the discretion to responsibly employ gender specific accommodations? I think the latter choice is more democratic. I tend to dismiss public safety arguments as 99% fearful ignorance & would point out that a transgendered woman is far less safe in a male-only environment than a woman sharing public accommodations with a transperson. I trust the judgment and discretion of individuals to solve this rather minor social question far better than any government might.
Men who identify as women aren't men, they are women.
Just because someone says they are a gender they are not does not make it true! Not only is this an embarrassment to humanity, it is unsafe for the women. This whole transgender, LGBT movement has gone far enough. It is time Americans (and other people) get a bellyful and do something about this.
The question is quite ill-phrased, as it really depends on their needs for a bathroom. and how they urinate. Also, what if we added a new bathroom, labelled other in case of such situations.
I don't think I would feel comfortable, having a man who says he's a girl, in the girl's bathroom with a daughter of young age or worse. The fact is if a little girl, goes to the bathroom and has to see a dick and balls and hear the sounds it makes.... I can only imagine how traumatizing it would be.
I don't want someone who thinks they are a woman but still act like a guy using the bathroom with me or my little sisters. Some people are creeps who pretend to be trans just to stare into stalls, and I'm not OK with that, no way.
You're free to identify as whatever you want. You're not free to impose your self identification upon others.
I respect the feelings of people who disagree with me, but my dad as growing up never saw a man go into a womans Bathroom. if they even did they would get in serious trouble and I find that messed up to see a guy in the girls room.
This is going to lead to men "identifying as women" entering rape and women's shelters WHERE THEY NEED TO BE AWAY FROM BIOLOGICAL MEN TO HEAL!
Gee, here's a radical idea.... USE THE BATHROOM ACCORDING TO THE "PLUMBING" YOU HAVE IN YOUR UNDERWEAR! You're welcome!
Should have to undergo surgery to make them the opposite gender before going into the opposite bathroom.
