  • A guy just outside my city was not allowed a passport photo with his... pasta strainer hat... and he took it to court and hasn't given up fighting it yet. If you can believe in an invisible flying guy in the sky because "it says so in a book," you can do the same about anything. Especially the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

  • even though pastafarianism is a joke to illustrate the cult of christianity, it has all the attrbutes to be a legitimate religion.

  • It is

  • Its just as plausible as any other major religion.

  • I believe his noodles boiled for our sins.

  • Just as ridiculous as Christianity

  • Umm, since all religions are made up fairy tales, this humorous response to creationists is a religion like any others out there...

  • All hail The Flying Spaghetti Monster! Let Pastafarianism be a religion so all can be touched by his Noodly Appendage!

  • People can believe whatever they want, just make sure you don't shove it down people's throats, but people will still thinks it's illogical for believing in it, but hey... you just gotta deal with it.

I heard a similar story but the man in question never showed up to get his picture taken - I believe it was a clever stunt to prove a point. Very funny story though
