Should people cook more often at home?

The obesity rate in the United States was 35% in 2014. Could home cooked meals lower that number?

Ready-to-buy food sometimes are laced with high corn fructose syrup, aspartame, Monosodium Glutamate (MSG), trans fats and food color dyes like Blue #1, Blue #2, Red dye # 3, Red #40, Yellow #6 (E110) and Yellow Tartrazine (E102). These additives are cancer-causing and weight-gaining.

  • Sure, people should eat what they want, but I've found home-cooked meals to be more relaxing and satisfying, as well as healthier.

I really don't understand why so many people are to lazy to cook nowadays. Cooking is a fun activity that can be done with the entire family. In addition, you can decide what you want to add. If you are in the mood for something yummy, then make something yummy. If you are in the mood for making something healthy, then make something healthy. It is that easy.
