  • Most certainly not! The ethnicity, color, or race shouldn't matter.

  • Those things should be determined by your skill and competence as a student and worker, nothing else. I don't know why people wouldn't want this.

  • We need to abolish Affirmative Action.

  • Affirmative action degrades the effectiveness of a workplace by lowering performance standards in order to accommodate to certain demographics of the population. Rather than lowering the bar to accommodate certain individuals, based on characteristics other than merit, focus instead on providing better education and resources, to help minorities become prepared to excel in a competitive and ever-changing marketplace.

Wealth also plays an important role in these situations. Wealthier people can afford to go to college, get a superior education, and use that to advance themselves in their chosen career field. Personally I think how much money you have effects your standing in life more than your ethnicity, but thats just me.
