"Make political decisions based off their religion"...That's an interesting statement. People may make political decisions based off their morality, which can come from a large variety of sources, including their religion. I strongly disagree with the idea that people shouldn't be able to make political decisions based off their religion.
And yes, I know that China embraced capitalism. But it's called the Communist Party for a reason, and presumably it'll eventually lead China back towards Communism, once its economy has sufficiently developed.
So how would religion exactly impact their morality? Because finding things immoral as stated in their religion without any secular reason isn't valid regarding law. And saying that China will go back to communism once they're economy is good, that's a blatant assumption. It's very unlikely, the communist party is just a name.
