I'm sure somehwere down the line some students like the thought of being able to work from the comfort of home. If you'd rather do the same work, but have to do it at school instead, sure go right ahead.
I think i'd be ok with paying for that extra time the building has to be open and teachers paid, since children are likely more efficient at doing the homework in a classroom setting than they are when they're around the distractions of their homes.
Nope, Homework has been proven to not be very beneficial especially if too much is given. Plus this time should be spent with family/friends and having an actual life. Let students have a break from school while they're at home. If they need extra help then suggest that they do it/if the student wants extra credit. There are students who understand the material very well already and homework is pointless to them.
