Should the death penalty be continued in the U.S?

  • I think the death penalty needs reformed but not taken away. The death penalty is a needed buffer to protect other rights.

  • Eight amendment of the constitution.

  • I don't think the state should have the right to kill a human being. That leaves a lot of really scary gray area.

  • Nothing should come against the sanctity of life except under exceptional circumstances. I would gladly let them live under solitary confinement for the rest of their lives (I feel that life in prison is a worse punishment then death). and there is also the question of mistakes which might make sense to keep the person alive
