Should we allow military contractors to fight our wars?

PMCs have less restrictions in combat and have no loyalty to any country just to the highest bidder, is it a good idea to allow these kind of soldiers to fight our wars?

  • A private military corporation or paramilitary group, while mercenaries, work largely for profit, which has proven to be the best incentive that can be given to people to provide goods and services. However, people that are willing to die for their country would probably fight longer than those of a PMC or paramilitary group. This is due to the fact that a material incentive cannot be used when one is dead or severely injured. Both types of soldiers have their ups and downs and can both be used in a military and would both work well to defend us from the muslims and crackhead asians.

"fighting our wars" is a bit of a broad term. The US government does hire PMC's, but usually for very limited roles. We do not hire them to fight full out ground invasions.

Sorry should have been more specific, Russia does that kinda this where they have most of their force made out of PMCs. Their invasion of Georgia is a good example, give it a look.
