  • because america

  • No brainer if you have one

  • Capitalism is what drives innovation and improvements in products. Socialist states are proof it does not work efficientlyand perfectly.

  • Capitalism is the fairest economic system that we've ever had. Everyone has the incentive to make more money, rather than wiair for rich people's money to be redistributed to them, meaning more innovation can occur.

  • If human flourishing is our standard of value, human beings must be free to pursue their own interests. Capitalism is the only system based on this fundamental idea -- it is the only system grounded in individual rights.

  • I choose capitalism for a few reasons, one reason is because it supports hard work, unlike socialism and communism which you have an incentive because hard work gets you anywhere in this system. If my awesome country the USA ever goes to this system, I wouldn't be surprised to see a recession. Which is why I am pro capitalist!

  • Socialism because it benefits everyone in society not just the rich without socialist ideas the poor would always remain in the same state. "Democracy is the road to socialism"

  • because I like a good revolution.

  • Because socialism is great for all classes. Capitalism is a close second, for it's ability to motivate the working class, which is admirable, although I personally prefer the knowledge that I have a safety net.

  • Socialism has been misdefined, and that misdefinition of it has been lied about. Socialism is political egalitarianism, and represents the democratization of the means of production. Capitalism is a disease. We need more than a cure; we need a vaccine.

"Socialism because it benefits everyone in society" LOL. Socialism is horrible and nobody but the elite prosper and nobody has a chance of advancing themselves. The standard of living in socialist countries is very low as their is no incentive to make a good product, invent new products or do anything for the better of the country or its citizens

The reason I am not voting is simply because it should be a combination of the both. Capitalism can be good, but many nations are overdoing it. In Europe you start to hear more and more often the term 'Americanising', and that is not meant in a positive way. Yes capitalism is good in the sense that people are free to do business, explore ideas etc.. But as a government you also have the obligation to take care of the people in the country that you represent in the best way possible. And for this you do need a little bit of socialism. So hence the combination of the 2. And to debunk a few comments here; Don't confuse socialism with communism. Some of the richest countries in the world are exactly that because their governments have adopted a combination of these 2 systems as best as they can. Take a look at Norway, Sweden, Denmark, The Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland.
