Even a short time at the top of the polls is damaging the brand, do you agree?

  • Trump has humiliated the GOP with his comments about Mexican immigrants. Though what do you mean by birther conspiracy as they do believe in a lot of unsupported things.

  • In part yeah. Also the racism of many GOP voters has caused him to gain some support that he wouldnt have had without those mexican comments.

Komododragon8: Birthers are those people who wanted to see Obamas birth certificate to prove their weird theory that he's from Kenya or something.

@komododragon8 - Trump(tm) was pushing the birther conspiracy. They, the GOP, could have deflated the Trump(tm)... Hair, at that point. They let him run with it, and this is what they got for it.

Oh ok I thought you were talking about pro-lifers.
TBR says2015-07-13T16:11:48.2231101-05:00
Sorry, no. However, Trump(tm) was VERY pro-choice, and has flip-flopped for, you know... ;)

Yep presidential elections will do that to people.

Nice. Found a good video of Trump "on the issue." http://www.nbcnews.com/meet-the-press/video/trump-in-1999-i-am-very-pro-choice-480297539914 circa 1999

@Teaparty1 - Deflect much?
Teaparty1 says2015-07-13T17:00:14.6090642-05:00
@TBR Nope, but I am supporting Komododragon8's statement.
TBR says2015-07-13T17:04:16.6475965-05:00
So then we are agreeing that Trump(tm) flipped for political expediency, the GOP "believe in a lot of unsupported things.", and that Trump is damaging the GOP brand. OK, good.
Teaparty1 says2015-07-13T17:07:31.3321747-05:00
Yes I agree he flipped for political expediency, the second two you listed, I'm not so sure.
Teaparty1 says2015-07-13T17:09:46.0601360-05:00
I meant his last statement in the comments.
TBR says2015-07-13T17:12:49.7102692-05:00
I see.
