Not a political genius, but he was charismatic and corrupt, which are two very advantageous political traits.

Yes, I'd say hitler was a great leader. He was probably one of the best speech givers in history, and he rallied millions of people to support him, and then convinced them to continue to support him when he went to war and started killing jews.

Sure, his beliefs and even actions were terrible crimes against humanity. That is why most people would vote "no" on this question. However, if they actually knew more about him than just the Holocaust, then they would know that Hitler did a great job as leader. How else do you think he went from a failed artist to Chancellor of Germany? Sure, his ideas and goals were evil, but he took perhaps the poorest European country at the time and turned it into a battle-ready War machine in a few years.

I think the main thing to focus on here is "good". I initially voted no because he made some crappy choices that ultimately lost him a war when he was winning it very handily. However, he certainly was at least a good politician to unite Germany and restore it to the position of power that it was in pre-ww2. He may not have been great but he was undeniably good.

Despite his horrendous acts, Hitler's rise to power and destruction of opposition was scarily rapid.

I wouldn't call him a "political genius", but he knew how to work a room. He was also keenly aware of how to spin anything to best serve him.

He may have been a bad man but he knew how to lead.

I think so. He persuaded an entire nation with just brute force and his voice. I really don't think anybody tried to revolt or protest against Hitler. Sure, it was a tyrannic government, but it worked.
It wasn't his political beliefs that were wrong, it was his ideals.

The true definition of cult of personality. Ingredients: antisemitism, dissatisfaction with the German loss in WWI, a reborn idea on Germanic spirituality, young men and powerful rallies with great speeches. He did a great job as a politician. His military leadership lacked of the necessary tactics.
