  • I don't think the universe runs on any laws at all. It's just us 'discovering' the laws as we see it.

  • Math is a tool in our toolbox of figuring out the universe. Math does not exist outside of the human mind, we just use it as a tool to discover laws of the universe. Yeah, we can discover that pi equals 3.14, but we did not discover numbers, we made them up as a way to measure things; an invented method. If numbers and mathematical equations did not exist, the universe would still work the same way.

  • Becauze hmm if you *burp* think abou it umm umm socks we're invented by jesus *burp* christ the lord and svioar, therefore, by the transitive and commutative properties, math was invented. Case closed! *burp*

If you have a thing, then you get another thing. You set the first thing next to the other thing and observe that there are a group that equals two things, all we have done is observe. The math existed, we only "invent" words and notation.

TBR, there is still three votes on the invented side. Plus I have a lot of classmates who disagree with me on this topic.

If I worked hard at the semantics, I could make the counter argument work, but it is wrong.
