  • It depends on the point of view. If you belonged to the 1st and 2nd estate, then no since life was luxurious. But if you belonged to the 3rd estate, the revolution was justified since taxes kept going up, there was little to eat, and life was horrible.

  • When people are oppressed and live in poverty with no way to escape it. Given no option it is only ethical to protest, if protest fails and rights are infringed what other option is there?

Which part? The part when they established a constitutional monarchy or the part when they overthrew and executed the monarchy along with a bunch of other people?
