@Black-Jesus Do you mean sacrifice? 1. The role y̲o̲u̲r̲ king has, is just one part of the games objective as a whole. 2. Don't forget the opponent. The king can neither play defensive nor offensive very well. Like I said -- "He is nothing without his constituents. The queen has the most power over the board."

We can play hypotheticals all day if you like, but if I had to answer, of course it would be the queen. She would have the best chance to defend him.
