  • @Nightingale23, you could still be atheist and not believe in evolution: there could be other ways speciation could've occurred. Atheists typically believe in evolution, though.

Both. My belief is that God created the universe and put life on a select number of planets. As this life evolved, he saw that there is no organism created in his image. He then took the ape-like creatures of 100,000 years ago and gave some of them a rational mind like his, thus the first rational animal was born. Of course, the Bible was written by people and has been translated throughout thousands of years by hundreds of people, so there are some errors. But, for the most part, I believe it is an honest account of HUMAN history, not the history of the UNIVERSE. For example, the flood of Noah was probably based on a flood in the Persian gulf 12,000 years ago.
