What about logo therapy?
I didn't think anybody would know any more than 5 but props for knowing more than just that, i'll add it.
CBT
What about Gestalt, BPD, or Person Centered? I love Viktor Frankl's book, "Man's Search for Meaning", but if you think about it all therapy is looking for the root cause of the problem as well as purpose or meaning of life through self examination, so Logos therapy would be applicable in all long term therapy commitments. And as discomfiting pointed out, psycho analysis is not used anymore for many reasons but the main one is...This is a shocker now...Insurance. Also, most people do not want to commit to long term therapy. They prefer brief therapy at best. Kreakin is right Cognitive -Behavioral therapy have been combined. BPD therapy is the "youngster" of the group and is an exciting field.
Strap to chair, brainwash with happy pictures of bunnies. OLOGY.
