An eye for an eye...A life for a life.

Leo.Messi: That would be 20 lives. So, by that logic, we need to kill 19 of his close family members and then kill him.

Or make him eat parts of himself

Maybe skin peeling

@PetersSmith, no we don't. His family members did not commit any murders, so they shouldn't be held accountable for what he did. Being a mass murderer and all there's nothing to say he likes his family or wasn't planning on killing them eventually.

Or how about we act like civilized people and not base our justice system off emotion and outrage. That and thumbs is what seperates us from animals. Dont have state sanctioned killing. Give the guy life in prison.

These results are sickening. Im glad such a high percentage of you support the death penalty. Supporting it in my view is a step beliw activly participating in the death if another. I suggest looking up the Innocence project. It forsnt neccisarily apply to this case but it is important.

The Death Penalty: Killing people to show that killing people is wrong. Life in prison (particularly solitary confinement) will prevent the person from killing again, unless they are killing themselves.

Exactly agree with what Sophia13 said, showing killing is wrong by killing the killer. This does not teach the public anything. An eye for an eye mentality does not work in this day of age. Life in prison is a better way to punish someone for their actions as it prolongs their punishment.

@Varrack and @PetersSmith: The people this hypothetical murderer murdered probably didn't do anything wrong. Neither did the family of the murderer do anything wrong. So, we should punish both the innocent and the guilty? What kind of sick morale is that? And this is just sick reasoning. Our world is messed up.

An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. If the murderer wants death let him. If he wants to live, sentence them to a prison life similar to what they have in Greenland.
