While I support this law, this is something comparatively minor. We don't need "mandatory minimums" for seatbelt violations. And the maximum penalty should just be a small fine. However if it's the case of a parent or other adult not buckling in a child or not ordering them to buckle themselves (if they are old enough to do so) then they should at least have to take a parenting class and a driver's safety class and pay a much larger fine, and possibly face a small amount of jail time and the possibility of losing custody of their children for further offenses.

As for points on the license, not necessarily, except again in the case of a parent or other adult not buckling in their children.

I agree, MasturDbtor! I don't think there should be ANY fines or penalties!!! I just make these polls up to see how stupid people are and how they're going to love their Martial Law, which is right around the corner! They don't get it, though. They keep giving the government more and more and more rights and allowing them to take away their OWN rights!!! It's sad, sick and pathetic. If you go through every one of the so called "BIG Issues," you can see how the government has indoctrinated them into their belief on EVERY SINGLE TOPIC!!! From the "global warming" horseshT to them having no problem with getting drunk on Friday and Saturday nights - only to have abortions to them totally removing God from their belief system, the TELL A VISION PROGRAMMING has conned them into a world of science. Just because the car starts in the morning, does not mean that every topic on here is Yay!

As Long As You're Not Harming Anyone There Should Be No Punishment. What You Do In Your Home Or Vehicle Is Your Choice & Business Only Not The Government's Or Anyone Else's, What You Own Is Your Choice & Business Only Not The Government's Or Anyone Else's, What You Download Or Upload Is Your Choice & Business Only Not The Government's Or Anyone Else's, What You Carry Or Sell Is Your Choice & Business Only Not The Government's Or Anyone Else's, If You Drive Or Do Something Else Without A License Or Permit Is Your Choice & Business Only Not The Government's Or Anyone Else's, What You Put In Your Body Is Your Choice & Business Only Not The Government's Or Anyone Else's, Who You Worship Is Your Choice & Business Only Not The Government's Or Anyone Else's, Who You Marry Or Date Is Your Choice & Business Only Not The Government's Or Anyone Else's, How You Punish Your Child Is Your Choice & Business Only Not The Government's Or Anyone Else's, How You Raise Your Children Is Your Choice & Business Only Not The Government's Or Anyone Else's, Where You Work Is Your Choice & Business Only Not The Government's Or Anyone Else's, & What You Do With Your Life Is Your Choice & Business Only Not The Government's Or Anyone Else's. Again As Long As You're Not Harming Anyone Else Then There Should Be No Punishment; No Victim No Crime.
