A PC isn't really a console

And a console isn't really a computer... Oh wait.

This just made me realize how out of touch I am with video games.

@chesed It might not be considered a console, but technically it is.

Yep, a console is defined as "A computer system." They're both computer systems that play games...

See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_game_console "The term "video game console" is used to distinguish a console machine primarily designed for consumers to use for playing video games, in contrast to arcade machines or home computers." And: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PC_game "PC games, also known as computer games or personal computer games, are video games played on a personal computer rather than a dedicated video game console or arcade machine." And: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Console_game "This article is about video games played on a console. For video games played on a personal computer, see PC game." Your definition is closer to dictionary.Com: "a computer system specially made for playing video games by connecting it to a television or other display for video and sound." Although you seem you have shortened it to "a computer system," which it is! But that is not the entire definition. The point is there's a difference in purpose. While Xbox runs Windows 10, it is not designed or marketed to run Adobe Photoshop, whereas a "gaming PC," perhaps marketed for gaming, will most likely run Windows 10 and is still considered "general purpose." Sure, you can "hack" a console and make it do all kinds of stuff, but the difference is in the intended purpose.

Sigh. Sorry for the double post and lack of formatting. Apparently this place doesn't like soft returns.

Pc is better because it has the most games and it has mods, hacks, servers, and other things the others dont have.
jcstroup says2017-03-22T18:35:52.0957305Z
Skyrim and Fallout 4 have mods, although Xbox One is better in that aspect because you can put in custom objects and NPCs.

The GameCube had a few very skill-based games, such as Melee, Double Dash, and Paper Mario TTYD which overshadow it's predecessors even today.
