I was born on a transition day

For example, 20 January 1993 was a "transition day"—power transitioned from President Bush to President Clinton

This explains a lot. Millenials polling on issues ... Now I know why I'm always in the minority here. Everyone is from the Clinton era and up.

FreedomBeforeEquality—you're also a millenial! Early 1980s and onward.
FreedomBeforeEquality says2015-08-13T17:43:42.9119052Z
So gen x has been completely absorbed?
FreedomBeforeEquality says2015-08-13T17:44:44.7507016Z
"Generation X, commonly abbreviated to Gen X, is the generation born after the Western Post–World War II baby boom. Demographers and commentators use birth dates ranging from the early 1960s to the early 1980s."

There is some overlap there. You have to look at who your parents were and not necessarily the year you were born, if youre going to go by which generation you belong to.

FreedomBeforeEquality—the 1980s could be seen as either Gen X or Millenial
FreedomBeforeEquality says2015-08-14T15:03:30.9283909Z
They say after the post world war baby boom ... Meaning your parents would have to have been baby boomers to be gen x. If your granddad wasnt in the war, youre probably a millennial.
