Which race would win in a battle: Angels or Demons?

Angels bear the heavenly wings of light and dedicate their lives to guarding and protecting the people of Earth! Demons bear the evil of a thousand dark souls and inspire people to do evil things. Which race would win? Which race...Would prevail?

If we're going by the Biblical versions, then the Angels obviously win

Angels are infinite beings. Demons are fallen creatures. They can die, my friend.

Speaking from a Christian stand point on the issue, David is a little off. Demons can not die, they will be sentenced to eternal punishment for the acts they have committed against God by turning away to follow Lucifer. They are every bit as infinite as Angels. Now a fight between the two factions would favor Angles as only 1/3 fell to become demons, giving the numbers to Heaven. If you brought the commanders into the war, there would be no contest as God created the angels and he could make unlimited more. But he could also wink all the demons out existence. Lucifer (The Devil, Satan) included. There will be a war in Heaven and it has already been recorded who wins.

You mean die in an earthly sense? I was referring to a spiritual death, something clearly referenced to by the Bible (the second death). Sorry if I confused any of you.

Revelation 20:10 "And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone (Burning Sulfur), where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever (Root word Aion; meaning eternal, ever more, without end)." Revelation 20:14-15 "Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. In short, they will not die as in cease to exist. They will suffer the second death, but they will not Die.

Exactly. Thanks for pointing that out, Baxter!
