Dude, Lenin was awful. Under his system, and every other communist institution in the world's history, there was a severe food shortage. And opportunities? Not in a system when even the most basic aspects of your live are controlled by the government.
@Mharman Lenin barely controlled his government as it was still fighting for control saying there was food shortages under his reign makes zero sense has he didn't run the country until around the 1920s in which there weren't any food shortages and such. As for opportunities there were endless opportunities for women and gays and such as they could do things that they were not able to do before. If Communist Governments were so bad explain why a majority of Russians and East Germans would happily welcome back Communist Government.

@Mharman He upholded what Communism is about and should be and brought about a huge era of Equality for the Russian People.
@Knaveslayer99 If the Russians and Germans love communism so much, why did the Germans celebrate when the Berlin Wall was torn down? Oh, and i'm sure that the Russians loved the various Gulags and food shortages in their country! Not to mention various anti-communist revolutions that happened in communist countries.
The people definitely love communism.
@fishhunter61 Yes, the popularity of the highly Conservative, religious, and capitalist friendly President Putin definitely points to Russia's disapproval for the old communist party of the USSR. If Russia liked the communists it would elect them. But yet it never does :)
